Three distinguished panelists will speak from R&D experience:
“Developing Engineering Leaders: Effectiveness in the First Five,” will be hosted at Rice University and organized by the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL), and will consist of interactive educational workshops, plenaries, networking exercises, and motivational reflections from distinguished engineers who are positively impacting the world today.
Since more than 2/3 of Engineering undergrads do research before they graduate, there are some good posters and potential posters out there that should be in the symposium. Participating gives you good practice in explaining to others what it is you are doing in research -- particularly valuable if you’re planning on attending grad school!
