It’s been another great year at RCEL! Come out and enjoy crawfish and pizza with your fellow Certificate students! We will recognize our seniors and the new Student Leadership, as well as welcome new Certificate students to the program.
At the upcoming summer Rice Drone Camp, middle school students will explore the engineering and science of drone technology and UAV systems, while also examining the social and cultural implications of technological advances. The program will include technical lectures from Rice faculty and professional engineers, project-based learning experiences, and hands-on training in drone operation.
Come out for a great day of new friends and engineering competitions! Students work in teams to complete an engineering challenge designed to test and expand their leadership ability, with upperclass engineering students serving as mentors.
