RCEL event introduces engineering students to patent law

The virtual event was sponsored by the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) and the Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease law firm, which has offices in seven cities in the United States, including Houston. Three patent attorneys and two patent agents — both Rice graduates — from the firm served as instructors.

RCEL course allows students to explore career options with industry leaders

“Our goal at the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) was to create an environment where students can learn technical and leadership skills at an elite, Rice-like, online engineering camp, one with a low student-teacher ratio,” said C.
