Engineering Liftoff

Come out for a great day of new friends and engineering competitions! Annually over 150 freshman and upperclassmen attend the Engineering Liftoff in the Rice Memorial Center Grand Hall. Students work in teams to complete an engineering challenge designed to test and expand their leadership ability, with upperclass engineering students serving as mentors. The event includes student speakers who discuss leadership, internship, and entrepreneurship, with all-you-can-eat dinner from Breakfast Klub will be served!
All engineering freshman are welcome, including those undecided about an engineering major.
